Easy Ways to Decorate your Cake with Sugarfina!

We love a well designed cake but sometimes simple and easy is the best way to go. We created these simple cakes (you can make them or store bought is great too!) and then added some Sugarfina Candy to them from our friends at The Sassy Cupcake . It's such an easy way to take a plain cake and make it FUN. 

For a Baby Shower: We wanted to create the look of clouds for a baby shower so we started with a basic chocolate cake with mint-colored frosting. We then used Sugarfina's 'Champagne Bubbles' candy and created a sweet scallop design on the bottom of the cake. It only took two boxes to create this look all around the bottom of the cake. Add your favorite cake topper and serve!

For a Wedding/Bridal Shower/Bachelorette Party: Leading up to a wedding or on the big day itself is all about love. We took a simple white cake and added 'Sugar Lips' candies to the bottom and a few on top. This only took one box of candies and adds a sweet modern design to the look. Add a modern topper to the cake ( or create a custom one to surprise the bride with!) and you're all done!

For a Birthday Party: For our last cake we decided to go all out. We took a basic white cake and pressed lots and lots of sprinkles into it. Covering the whole thing! And if that weren't enough, we then added 'Birthday Cake Caramels' to the top to really take it to the next level. This only took one box of the candy to create. Add in a fun cake topper or add lots of treat toppers for a fun over-the-top look.
